Business in a Pack

Business in a Pack was created in response to a growing need among students and young adults in Baltimore to gain access to education on how to start and operate a business. According to the "Reshaping Workforce Development in Baltimore" report published by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, "Many teens and young adults — crave entrepreneurship and resources to build businesses that benefit their communities, and that free them from the discriminatory practices, policies and workplace cultures that participants reported facing in traditional employment settings. For them, a career is not only a means to escape financial woes, but to create opportunity for the people around them and build a life free from violence and poverty."

Business in a Pack allows students to creating a web based business that eliminates traditional workplace barriers and discriminatory practices youth face when seeking employment.
